Relaxation Massage is a form of manual therapy that involves applying pressure to tissues and muscles. Application of slow firm pressure, and gentle stretching of fascia helps to relax the underlying muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

This bodywork treatment improves the movement of spinal fluid and blood flow by applying very light pressure on the spinal column, sacrum, and cranium. The CST is performed over the clothes.

1.Marma Point Treatment-similar to Chinese acupuncture and shiatsu massage, this treatment concentrates on stimulating the blood and energy flow throughout the body, or part of the body by applying gentle pressure on specific Ayurvedic Marma Points. It focuses on balancing the chakras and calming the mind. This treatment includes the use of aromatic oils and/or chakra stones.

2.Garshana and Abhyanga Treatments

    Ø Garshana treatment- involves dry massage with garshana gloves. This stimulates blood flow, promotes lymphatic drainage, and exfoliates the skin. This treatment is followed by a light oil massage or a full abhyanga treatment.

    Ø Abhyanga treatment- the treatment involves pouring oils on one’s body combined with vigorous massage. It promotes blood and lymphatic circulation and skin rejuvenation.

These treatments increase mobility, detoxification, healing and balancing of body and mind. Massage technique, pressure, and amount of oil used is based on your body condition.

3.Vishes treatment- a whole body oil treatment with pressure point treatment; vigorous stimulating massage that helps break up toxins, stimulates lymphatic drainage and blood flow, it causes deep relaxation of the body and mind. Massage technique, pressure, and amount of oil used is based on your body condition.This treatment can be combined with Basti treatments.

4. Basti Body treatment - includes application of warm botanical oil or milk to a specific part of the body in a ring of dough. The oil/milk is drawn off the ring of dough, reheated and poured back in the ring. This treatment increases blood flow to the area of application; relieves soreness, joint and muscle pain; effective for kidney and adrenal fatigue; brings awareness and relaxes the mind. Treatments are beneficial to those suffering from chronic back pain, protrusion of intravertebral disc, kidney and adrenal disfunctions.

5. Pinda Swedana Treatment- includes application of boluses (cotton fabric filled with sand, rice or different mixture of herbs based on your body constitution). This is a heat inducing localized, or whole body, treatment that relaxes the muscles, improves nerve functions, decreases aches and pains, it relieves blockage of different body systems due to physical and mental exhaustion.Pinda treatments are beneficial to those suffering from asthma, sciatica, bell’s palsy and paralysis, arthritis, dry skin, sluggish metabolism.

6. Sinus Treatment- includes lymphatic drainage massage on head, neck and shoulders and a light body steam and application of medicated oils in nose to stimulate sinus drainage. This treatment is good for those with seasonal allergies, difficulty breathing trough nose due to thickening of nasal mucous. It is beneficial to those suffering from migraines, headaches. It relaxes the mind, decreases fatigue, and promotes overall mental and physical health.

 Please, wear clothes you don’t mind getting oil on until you can shower. Before each session, do not drink any alcohol or eat heavy foods.
